Can I Make This Without the Nuts?
We have added flaked almonds to our Keto green beans for added texture and flavor. If you are on a nut-free diet then you can simply omit the almonds. If tolerated, you may swap the almonds for some seeds, such as pumpkin or sunflower. If you would like to use a different nut, we suggest pecans or walnuts, as these will perfectly complement the festive flavors.
Can I Make This Dairy-Free?
We have sautéed our green beans in a generous helping of butter to add a richness to this Christmas Keto recipe. If you would like to make the recipe dairy-free, you can swap this for coconut oil or olive oil. Please be sure to adjust your macros to account for any changes made to the original recipe.
