Low Carb Beef And Broccoli

Beef and broccoli is one of my all-time favorite takeout meals, but it is usually loaded with sugar. Sugar isn’t necessary to make this dish delicious, just a nice balance of flavors from the soy sauce and sesame seed oil will do. The recipe calls for black pepper, which is one of the key flavors to this dish. Try to use freshly cracked pepper...honestly, the more pepper, the better!

Can I Add Sweetener? Traditional takeout beef recipes are usually loaded with sugars that are not Keto compliant. We have chosen to keep our Keto beef recipe simple with flavorings from low carb condiments. However, if you have a hankering for sweetness, you may add according to taste. We would recommend using a low carb maple syrup as this would complement the flavors of the dish perfectly. Simply add to taste. However, be sure to adjust your macros to account for any additions.

Serving Suggestions Our easy Keto beef recipe makes a delicious low carb lunch or dinner option. If you would like to serve with additional sides, we recommend a plain cauliflower rice or a Keto egg fried rice. Alternatively, serve over a bed of zucchini or shirataki noodles. You will find an array of suitable accompaniments in our sides section.
